Okay so maybe the WWE All Stars Fantasy Warfare Facebook app isn’t all that great. Although you could win a trip to WrestleMania XXVII, there isn’t too much reason to spend time with this app. It’s a promotional tool more than anything, and it has just gotten another reason for people to keep it on their profiles.

THQ is tempting would-be purchasers of WWE All Stars with free DLC for sharing the game with your friends on Facebook. The DLC is a secret wrestler that will be unlocked in the full game. There’s a little meter that steadily increases as more users share the app.
Though I can appreciate THQ’s efforts to get the word out about WWE All Stars, you should be careful about sharing this with friends. The app isn’t malicious or anything, it’s just that people may not take too kindly to your requests to “play” WWE All Stars Fantasy Warfare. I’m a WWE fan and I didn’t take too kindly to the long news feed post the app created on my behalf for simply starting a match. All I did was pick the Ultimate Warrior over Sheamus, and the following was sent out to my friends. “Jeremy Hill says that Ultimate Warrior would dominate Sheamus in the ring. Who would you vote for? Play now!”
