It's a good time to be a wrestler on TV these days, or at least on one of Universal's affiliate networks. Just one day after we learned that massive WWE superstar The Big Show would join Michael Westen and co. for an episode of Burn Notice, now SyFy reports that retired four-time WWE championship winner Edge will join the cast of Haven in a guest role.

Edge, real name Adam Joseph Copeland, will take the role of Dwight Henrickson, a longtime resident of the supernatural Haven and former partner to Nathan Wuornos' Sheriff father. As Nathan takes the position for season two, he finds himself in need of Dwight's help as well.
Other guest stars for Haven's second season premiering on SyFy July 15th include Vinessa Antoine (Being Erica, Soul Food) and former 90210 star Jason Priestly, who will direct one of a four-episode arc he appears in.
Haven, which stars Lucas Bryant (Queer as Folk) as Ned Wuornos, Emily Rose (ER, Jericho) as Audrey parker and Eric Balfour (Skyline, 24) as Duke Crocker, is based on The Colorado Kid from prolific author Stephen King and is currently shooting season two in Nova Scotia.
