On the May 13, 2011 episode of WWE Smackdown, Layla got in the ring to talk about her victory over Michelle McCool—in a Loser leaves WWE match at WWE Extreme Rules. She was then interrupted by Michael Cole, who then talked about his match against Jerry Lawler at WWE Over the Limit, as well as berate the WWE Divas. As Cole went on about how the Divas do not belong in the WWE, Kharma’s music hit and she made her way to the ring…
As Kharma entered the ring, Cole tripped Layla, making her unable to escape Kharma. Layla then became the 5th victim of Kharma’s Implant Buster. Kharma then set her sights on Cole, who ran and hid in his “cole mine.”
Thoughts: Great segment, much better than what we saw on Raw. Layla’s promo left a lot to be desired; however, Michael Cole and Kharma were near-flawless with their executions. What a tease, seeing Kharma go after Cole. Hopefully she will get her hands on Cole, and it is done right.
