Natalya was already in the ring for this match, which came about due to Tamina’s attack on Natalya after their tag-team match on last week’s episode of Smackdown (WWE Divas – December 30, 2011). Clips were seen of Natalya’s dad Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart in action, followed by Tamina making her way to the ring. Clips of Tamina’s dad Jimmy Snuka was then played. Natalya took Tamina down right away as the bell for the match rang. Natalya dominated with punches and kicks, and attempted to put Tamina in the sharpshooter, in which Tamina countered. The two then collided with a double crossbody. Tamina then hit a Samoan drop on Natalya, followed by the Super Fly Splash for the win…

Thoughts: This match was bitter–sweet. The clips of both Tamina and Natalya’s fathers was a sad reminder of how these girls could actually be used right in the WWE. A feud between them just based on their heritage would have had such potential. Yet it is wasted in a match under 2 minutes long. Still, it should be interesting to see what the WWE’s plans for Tamina is in the next few weeks.
