Sidelined with MRSA, WWE Diva Mickie James decided to push back the release of her debut CD until mid-May.

“My main focus now, as it should be, is to get myself 150% for Wrestlemania first and foremost,” James wrote of her decision on her WWE Universe blog.

“I haven’t been able to promote it the way it needs to be leading to the release because of the sideline. By holding out I know I can put the proper energy and truly push my project the way it needs to be.”

Whether or not she will make it back in time to appear on the WrestleMania card remains to be seen. Even if she does, there may not be a spot for her this late in the game.

However, she will be in the area for all of the WWE events. James will perform from 8 – 10 p.m. the Friday before WrestleMania at Phoenix Margaritaville.
