We start this week’s show with some Diva action, it will be Tiffany taking on Layla, a match that was supposed to take place last week.
Yet, this isn’t a title match, so I would suggest WWE owes Tiffany a Women’s Title match.
Okay, maybe not. Layla wins the match with the Lay-Out, which is her neckbreaker. Tiffany does show some promise though, but I still can’t wait to see Beth Phoenix make her return to the ring to upgrade the Women’s division.
They show us footage from that hideous Kissing contest on NXT from this past Tuesday. Yeah, let’s forget about showcasing Michael McGillicutty taking on The Miz, and show us the footage that makes WWE absolutely no money, whatever. Tonight, Evan Bourne will go one on one with Zack Ryder…ya know it.
The Impact Players Part Deux, Vance Archer and Curt Hawkins come out for a match, and Todd Grisham says “Vance Archer and Curt Hawkins are one of the best tag teams in WWE today”. Good gravy, they just started. They will face off against the Dudebusters.
Imoact Players Part Deux won the match, which was good, but let’s be honest, after seeing the Motor City Machineguns and Beer Money tearing it up tonight on Impact, this was a letdown. Hawkins won with the Heat Seeking Elbow. What’s sad is after starting up just a few months ago, they will be in line for a Tag Team title shot. WWE needs to rebuild their tag team division.
Another trailer to upcoming John Cena movie, called Legendary.
A video on The Miz is being shown, because let’s face it, he is awesome and I am not just saying that because he is from Cleveland….okay, maybe I am.
Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to the show. They air the Raw Rebound, featuring Edge and Chris Jericho qitting Team Cena for Summerslam. I am telling you, Raw and Smackdown need to start airing Superstars Rebound, just imagine them showcasing why Chris Masters Vs The Dudebusters is the hottest feud in Wrestling.
Main event time, it is going to be Evan Bourne taking on Zack Ryder. Bourne wins with Air Bourne, a very entertaining match and it showcased 2 very underrated performers, in my opinion. When it was all said and done, the 2 young talents showed what they could do, and that is all you can ask for.
