Sources have confirmed to FanHouse that Tyler Black has signed a developmental contract with WWE. According to PWInsider.com, multiple sources within World Wrestling Entertainment are saying that the company has signed current Ring of Honor World Champion Tyler Black.
Indications are that Black will be starting with the company in September and it is believed that he has signed a developmental deal, though that has not been confirmed.
Black won ROH's top title in February of this year at the company's Eighth Anniversary Show, defeating two-time champion Austin Aries. He has several scheduled title defenses between now and September, including a match against Roderick Strong on September 11 at the Glory by Honor i-PPV.
